Frayssinous announces 2015 squad

Laurent Frayssinous has announced his squad for the 2015 season.

The Catalans Dragons headcoach unveils for the moment a 23 man squad.

"We have been working since the beginning of our pre-season with this group of 23 players.”

“They are working really hard and have been improving week by week.”

“Our new signings are fully integrated into our squad and we already feel a great motivation and a strong cohesion within the squad.”

“Administratively, I know that I have to announce a 25 man squad, but I don’t want to upset the balance that we have managed to find. “

"From experience, I know that this list has no value, for example, we used 32 players last year despite naming an initial 25 man squad. “

“We have got some great young players at the club, those playing with our reserve or U19 academy teams, and I know a lot of them can claim to play in Super League this season.”

“They are putting a lot of pressure on the other players and have made our squad a lot stronger. Some of them are already training with us when needed and they add great depth to the squad.”

"The 17 players named on the team sheet will be chosen by their performances and not by the numbers on their back.”

“That is why this group of 23 will be extended but, as I said, I don’t want to disrupt now something that currently working for us as a team.”

25 man squad and 2015 numbers will be announced in January.
