New deal for Thomas Bosc


 
 

Catalans Dragons half-back Thomas Bosc has signed a new one-year contract extension with the option of a further 12 months.

The France international, who turned 31 earlier this month, will stay at the Gilbert Brutus Stadium at least until the end of the 2015 season.

Thomas Bosc said : “I’m really happy to sign a new contract with the club I’m playing since 2006.”

“We’ll celebrate in 2015 the tenth season of the Dragons in Super League and I’m really proud to be a part of it.”

 “I'm happy and very grateful for the opportunity the club's given me over many years and I want to do my best to repay the faith they showed in me.”

“When I look back, I’m really proud of what we achieved since the beginning.”

Bosc, who was a member of the inaugural season in 2006, is the best Super League point scorer in the club history after amassing 1028 points (42 tries, 425 goals and 10 drop-goals) in 165 appearances.

He became this season the the first player to reach 1,000 points for the club.

Catalans headcoach Laurent Frayssinous added : “It’s a great news to keep Thomas at the club.”

“He is a key player in the team and his experience, his knowledge of the game and the club and his qualities on and off the field will be valuable in the squad.”

“I was important to me to know I could rely on him for the seasons to come.”
