Mickael Simon to leave Catalans


 
 

Catalans Dragons can confirm Mickael Simon will leave the club at the end of the season.

The French International prop will join Wakefield next season on a two-year deal.

Simon has made 63 Super League appearances for Catalans Dragons and scored 2 tries since his debut in 2010.

“I've had five good years at the Dragons. I would like to thanks the club for giving me the opportunity to become a professional player.”

“I’m 27 and I think I needed a new challenge at this stage of my career . I want to play as many games as possible. It was a good opportunity for me and I seized it.”

“ I'm now focused on the end of the season with the Dragons.”

Catalans Dragons CEO Christophe Jouffret added : "Mickael has decided to leave to club at the end of the season to take up a new challenge in his career."
