Catalans Dragons can confirm that Scott Dureau will join the Sydney Roosters on loan for the end of 2014 season.

 

The Australian half back, who is linked with Catalans Dragons until the end of the 2015 season, has play only one Super League game this year against Castleford where he was severely wounded in the arm.

 

“With the progress of healing of Scott Dureau in recent weeks and his desire to play again at the highest level, as well as our inability to keep him in the squad to have reached the quotat of foreign players, we grant his request to release up until the end of the season.

We preferred to authorize him to join Australia rather than a Super League club against which we could play a qualifying play-off place. He will evolve close to his family and find a high level of competition with the Sydney Roosters.
