Greg Mounis and Jason Baitieri will lead the Dragons in 2014 having been appointed as co-captains of the club.

The young France born loose-forward, who joined the club in 2011, will step into the role which was made vacant by Rémi Casty move to Sydney Roosters.

Greg Mounis will start his ninth season with the Catalans Dragons, his fourth as co-captain. He is the first player to have surpassed the 200 Super League game mark with the Catalans Dragons.

Catalans Dragons headcoach Laurent Frayssinous said: “Both are natural leaders and are very highly respected players within our group”

“They are an example on and off the field and I think they complement each other very well.”

“They will be heavily supported by a number of other players who show great leadership.”
