Mathias Pala has signed today a new one year deal with the Catalans Dragons, with an option for the 2015 season.

“I’m delighted and proud to stay at the club. I’m still learning and I want to continue my progression and cement my place in the backline.”

Pala, 24 years old, was named in the France 24 man squad for the Rugby League World Cup but has been ruled out of the tournament with a shoulder injury.

The Catalans centre made 12 Super League appearances in 2013 and scored 3 tries.
