France squad dominated by Dragons

France coach Richard Agar has unveiled his 24-man squad for the World Cup.

The squad, as expected, is dominated by Catalans Dragons, who provide 15 players, while seven of the remainder have all played for the Perpignan club at some stage of their career.

The team will be led by Olivier Elima, with Remi Casty vice-captain.

France are due to play a warm-up match against the United States on October 18 before opening their World Cup campaign against Papua New Guinea in Hull on October 27.
