New contract for Ian Henderson

Ian Henderson signed today a new two years contract with Catalans Dragons that will keep him at the Gilbert Brutus Stadium until the end of 2015.

I'm very pleased to have signed a new contract with the club. My family and I are very happy in Perpignan, we love the club, the lifestyle and the people.”

“I believe the club is going in the right direction and is getting stronger each year. I have belief in the team, belief in the coaches and belief in the club management and this made my decision easier.” said Ian Henderson.

The 30-year-old Scotish International has scored 6 tries in 76 appearances since joining the club from New Zealand Warriors in 2011.

He made his debut with Sydney Roosters before moving to Bradford Bulls for a first spell in Super League from 2005 to 2007, winning the title in 2005 and the World Club Challenge.

It's great for us to keep Ian at the club for the next two seasons. He is a player completely committed to the club. He will also bring his experience to the team and will continue to help the young players who are coming through to develop.
