Salford City Reds players Jacob Emmitt and Lee Jewitt have been suspended after they appeared before an RFL Disciplinary Tribunal earlier today (Tuesday July 22).

Emmitt was suspended for one match and fined £400 after he was found guilty of a Grade B punching offence committed against Catalan Dragons during their Super League Round 22 fixture on Friday July 19.

Jewitt has also been suspended for one match and fined £300 after he was found guilty of committing a Grade A punching offence in the same fixture.

Salford's Darrell Griffin has been suspended for two matches and Catalans Dragons prop Remi Casty has been suspended for one match after they submitted Early Guilty Pleas in relation to Grade C and Grade B charges, respectively, from the same fixture.

The following players also submitted Early Guilty Pleas in relation to offences committed during Super League Round 22 fixtures:

- Ian Henderson (Catalan Dragons) - loses right to submit a further EGP for 12 months following Grade A punching offence against Salford City Reds

- Gregory Mounis (Catalan Dragons) - loses right to submit a further EGP for 12 months following Grade A punching offence against Salford City Reds

- Larne Patrick (Huddersfield Giants) - loses right to submit a further EGP for 12 months following Grade A punching offence against Castleford Tigers

- Grant Millington (Castleford Tigers) - loses right to submit a further EGP for 12 months following Grade A punching offence against Huddersfield Giants
