Dragons in the schools

Catalans Dragons players visited the schools around Perpignan last week.

The players and members of the staff visited the children of the Curie Pasteur and Molière schools in Argelès sur Mer, the André Cavaille school in Sorède, the Alain school in St Cyprien, the Marcel Pagnol school in Théza, the Joseph Cortada school in St Laurent de la Salanque, the Simone Veil school Latour de France, the Joseph Sebastien school in Rivesaltes, the Jean Jaurès school in Toulouges, the François Arago school in Le Soler, the Jules Ferry school in Llupia, the Bernard Payrrou school in Nefiach, the Fourques' school, the Tordères' school and Hyacinthe Rigaud and Anatole France schools in Perpignan.

The club work in schools with USEP 66 to promote the club and encourage further participation in Rugby League. The students began a cycle of 8 to 11 weeks around the practice of Rugby League.

Around 1 000 kids met the players for this operation.
