Catalans Dragons are pleased to announce the appointment of Justin Murphy as new reserve team Headcoach.

The former Dragons winger was the U19 headcoach during the last two seasons, winning two Premiership titles and one Coupe de France.

Murphy, 45, replaces Eamon O’Carroll as new St Estève XIII Catalan Headcoach. The former Ireland international prop will return to England at the end of the Super League season to become the new headcoach of the Bradford Bulls in 2024.

Justin Murphy said : “I am very happy to rejoin the Club’s reserve team for the new season. The staff will continue to provide a positive environment for our players to develop through hard work and commitment to improve. We have worked together for a few years with the majority of this playing group and understand what is needed for them to progress. For me it is a privilege to be involved in their development.”
