Dragons in the schools



Catalans Dragons players visited the schools around Perpignan on Tuesday.

For this first day, the players and members of the staff visited the children of the Curie Pasteur and Molière schools in Argelès sur Mer, the Jean Moulin school in Arles sur Tech, the André Cavaille school in Sorède, the Pons school in Rivesaltes, the Pierre and Marie Curie school in Canet, the Jules Ferry school in Sainte Marie, the Marcel Pagnol school in Théza, the Hyacinthe Rigaud, Claude Simon, Romain Rolland and Pasteur Lamartine schools in Perpignan, the Pau Casals school in Pollestres, the George Sand school in Saleilles, the elementary school in Llupia, Trouillas and Fourques.

The club work in schools with USEP 66 to promote the club and encourage further participation in Rugby League. The students began a cycle of 8 to 11 weeks around the practice of Rugby League.

Around 1 000 kids met the players for this first operation.
