Jono Jones leaves the club

The club can confirm Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach is leaving the club.

He started his Strength and Conditioning career at Everton Football Club before moving to the south of France to join the Dragons performance team in the summer of 2018.

His role was to support injury rehabilitation, player preparation, strength coaching and junior player development.

After having spent over four seasons in Perpignan, he returns to the UK at Swansea City AFC.

The club would like to wish him all the best for the future.

Jono Jones : "First of all, I would like to thank Steve, for putting his trust in me back in 2018 when I was a junior strength & conditioning coach coming across to France to work for the first time in rugby league. It’s been an unbelievable 4 years having worked with some of the best athletes, coaches and staff, professional rugby league has to offer. The club has allowed me to experience opportunities unique to the Dragons, some opportunities strength & conditioning coaches work their whole careers and dream of such as winning the league leaders shield and supporting a squad of players to the super league grand final at Old Trafford. I am entirely grateful for the opportunity to have been part of the Dragons Catalans. Finally thank you to Bernard and all the directors for trusting us to be successful as a team. Allez les Dracs !"
