The Dragons head into training camp in Spain

The Dragons will be heading off to Spain in Torremirona in a one-week pre-season training camp, from today to Saturday, to prepare the 2023 season.

For the first time in many years, the Dragons will move their training camp abroad.

Neil McIlroy, Sporting Director, said: “We are delighted to be heading off to this pre-season training camp in a Spain. After the World Cup, the Staff decided to find a different place to help prepare the season and we are very grateful to the club for financing this training camp. This is the first time for a few years that the club is heading abroad at this time but we were also looking for a place close to Perpignan. It’s a perfect environment for our needs and to combine high performance with conviviality. It will also help to integrate the new players and the youngsters who have joined the squad recently.”
