RLWC : Round 3 Review
The World Cup group stage has ended yesterday. Many players have represented their country in this Round 3.
12 Dragons players represented France against Samoa last Sunday: Benjamin Garcia, Fouad Yaha, Matthieu Laguerre, Samisoni Langi, Benjamin Jullien, Arthur Romano, Arthur Mourgue, César Rougé, Paul Séguier, Jordan Dezaria and Alrix Da Costa while Mickael Goudemand started on the bench.
Fouad Yaha scored the only try for France in the 62-4 loss against Samoa. Ben Garcia's teammates are out of the competition after having been defeated by England and Samoa.
Only Mike McMeeken played for England on Saturday in the stunning 94-4 victory over Greece. This win secured England's place at the top of Group A. They will face Papua New Guinea in the quarter-finals.
Mike McMeeken scored one of England's 17 tries during this game.
Dylan Napa also played in the Cook Islands' final game of the competition. Defeated 92-10 by Tonga, the Cook Islands finished 3rd and won't participate in the World Cup final stages.
Siosiua Taukeiaho, the Dragons' future prop, has been rested for the Tonga match. They will take on Samoa in a quarter-final clash.
