The context

Today is the big day at Brutus! The Dragons host St Helens in the Challenge Cup Quarter-Finals on Saturday, April 9. Kick-off at 3.30pm CEST at the Gilbert Brutus Stadium. 

Steve McNamara's men have the ambition to secure a place in the last four of the competiton for the first time since 2018 while the Saints will want to keep the Challenge Cup trophy for a second consecutive season.

After having beaten Championship leaders Featherstone in the previous round on March 26, the Catalans face the reigning champions who knocked Whitheaven out 46-4 to reach the quarter-finals of the competition.


The squad

Steve McNamara has named his squad to face the Saints.

Samisoni Langi, Alrix Da Costa, Dean Whare and Julian Bousquet will miss the game through injury

Fully recovered from an ankle injury, Arthur Mourgue has been named in the squad for the first time this season. After having missed the last game at Huddersfield, Micky McIlorum and Benjamin Jullien are back in the squad.

Back from suspension, Mitchell Pearce and Jordan Dezaria are also available to face the Saints.
