Preseason training to commence soon


 
 

Catalans Dragons will start the pre-season training on the 29th of November.

A large number of players returning on Day 1.

New recruits Mitchell Pearce and Dylan Napa will arrive on 29th December.

Josh Drinkater, Samisoni Langi and Sam Kasiano, who haven’t been able to go back home and see their family for two years due to Covid, will also arrive on 29th December.

Internationals Tom Davies and Mickael Goudemand have been granted an extra week of recovery and will start on 6th December.

Julian Bousquet, Dean Whare and Matt Whitley, who all underwent surgery at the end of last season, will start on Monday.

Catalans Dragons headcoach Steve McNamara said: “After a good break, we eagerly look forward to welcoming back our players on Monday. It is very important for us on our return to revisit the basic core elements of our game and rebuild from the beginning the foundation work that is needed if we are to progress as individuals and as a team from last season. Our physical components in this period will focus on strength and aerobic conditioning whilst our skill work will be cover many individual areas that are needed for us to come together effectively as a team.”
