Date confirmed for 2022 Betfred Super League Grand Final

 
 

Super League can confirm that the 2022 Betfred Super League Grand Final will take place on Saturday 24 September at Old Trafford.

A shift from the traditional October date has been accommodated to best allow Super League players additional time to fully prepare for the upcoming Rugby League World Cup, which is scheduled to begin in mid-October.

Next season will see the 25th Grand Final contested since 1998 with plenty of unforgettable memories created, from Jason Robinson scoring the first try in the first Grand Final, to St Helens completing the three-peat of victories in 2021.

Rhodri Jones, Super League chief commercial officer said: “We are delighted to confirm the date and venue for the 2022 Betfred Super League Grand Final. Over the previous 24 Grand Finals, there has been plenty of history created and we look forward to seeing who writes their name into the Super League history books in 2022.”

Tickets to the season finale go on sale Monday, 8 November. Fans are encouraged to book early to secure the best seats and the best prices. A special 25th Grand Final early bird discount of 25% will be available on adult tickets in categories 3-5.

2022 will also see new Junior and Community initiatives introduced including adult tickets for £20 and accompanying children priced at just £2.50, making the showpiece event more accessible for the next generation of Rugby League fanatics!

Tickets will be available from 10am on Monday 8 November via superleague.co.uk.

Additionally, all club tickets will be allocated in the same area within Category 4 (usually £40), to make it a club day out. Non-finalist clubs will be in the North stand and finalist clubs will be in their respective ends (East or West).
