Catalans Dragons centre Samisoni Langi has today signed a one-year contract with the club.

The Tonga international, 28, has put pen to paper on a contract extension that will secure his future at the Gilbert Brutus Stadium until the end of the 2022 season.

A former australian shoolboy, he made his NRL debut in 2013 for the Sydney Roosters where he worked with Steve McNamara, assitant coach of the Roosters at that time. He then joined the Super League with Leigh before signing for the Dragons. Samisoni Langi has convinced the fans since his arrival at Brutus. Rewarded by the Player of the Year award in 2019, he has been one of the key players in the squad over the last two seasons. He made 80 Super League appearances for the Dragons since his debut in 2018 and scored 18 tries.
