For their 16th season in Super League, Catalans Dragons have just rounded off an historical year. Steve McNamara’s men lifted the League Leader’s Shield after having finished first following the regular season, before going to Old Trafford for the first time ever, beaten 12-10 over St Helens in the Super League Grand Final.

With 19 wins in 23 games in the regular season, Benjamin Garcia’s teammates have broken the record of the most wins in a row. While the club’s longest winning streak was stucked at 7 consecutive wins since 2016, the Dragons shot up that record by winning 12 consecutive Super League games from April, 30 to August, 30.

Best Super League attack, the Catalans finished the season with the highest average points and tries scored per game.

3 Dragons ended the season at the top of an individual ranking. Josh Drinkwater made 29 assists and finished well ahead in the Super League top passer’s table while James Maloney topped the Super League points table this season with 241 points scored, 53 points more than Lachlan Coote. At last, Tom Davies have ran the most metres with 3647 metres won with the ball, so an average of 166 metres gained per match.
