Catalans Dragons will be heading to Old Trafford for the first time in the clubs history following a 28-10 play-off victory over Hull KR in Perpignan.

Despite missing the inspirational presence of Sam Tomkins tonight, the Dragons wasted no time as raced into a 12-0 lead at the half hour mark, with converted tries from Garcia and Drinkwater before Shaun Kenny-Dowall narrowed scores to 12-4 at half-time.

Arthur Mourgue extended Catalans lead within sixty seconds of the restart before two further Dragons tries sealed the victory. The robins grabbed a consolation try through Ryan Hall five minutes from time but the night belonged to the Dragons.
