Rémi Casty will lead the Dragons in 2020 having been appointed as captain of the club by Steve McNamara.

The French prop said: “I’m really proud to be the captain of the team in 2020.”

“It’s a huge honor to represent the club."

“2020 will be an exciting Super League season and I’m looking forward to it.”

“I’ll continue to give 100% for my team mates, my team, my club and our fans who will be this season again behind us.”

Named for the second time of his career in the Super League Dream Team in 2018, the former France International will be the club captain for the eighth season, having led the Dragons from 2012 to 2013 and after his return from the Sydney Roosters in 2015.

Steve McNamara said: “Remi’s captaincy is just a natural continuation for me. He has the benefit of having some outstanding leaders standing alongside him this year and he can focus on leading by example on the field.”
