Catalans Dragons prop Lambert Belmas has today signed a new one-year contract with the club.

The France International will remain at the Gilbert Brutus Stadium until the end of the 2020 campaign.

Belmas, 22, started playing Rugby League in Carcassonne and joined the club academy in 2015. He started playing with the U19 and then with the club reserve team in the French competition. He made his Super League debut in 2017.

Lambert is a young prop forward who’s physical development over the last 12 months has now put him in the position to genuinely compete for a place in the 1st team on a more regular basis. We look forward to seeing him continue to work hard to achieve that aim.
