Arthur Romano signs contract extension
Catalans Dragons Rookie of the year Arthur Romano has today signed a new one-year contract with the club.
The young centre will remain at the Gilbert Brutus Stadium until the end of the 2020 campaign.
Romano, 22, started playing Rugby League in Carprentras and joined the club academy in 2015. He started playing with the U19 and then with the club reserve team in the French competition. He made his Super League debut in 2017 before being sidelined for a long period with an ankle injury.
He made 13 appearances this season and scored 3 tries, playing center or winger.
I’m proud to extend my contract with the Dragons and to stay at the club. The season ended few weeks ago for us but I can’t wait to start the preseason program and to work hard with the team to achieve our goals next season.
Steve McNamara, Catalans Dragons Headcoach
Arthur has worked extremely hard over the last two years to improve his game. He has made significant progress and we look forward to seeing that continue over the next 12 months.
