On the eve of the 2019/20 French Elite Championship season, the club reserve team St Esteve XIII Catalan is working hard to defend the title.

10 products of the Catalans Dragons Academy system have committed their future to the club last month.

Reserve team players Romain Franco, Mathieu Cozza, Tiaki Chan, Valentin Zafra, Bastien Scimone and Ugo Martin and Juniors reserve team players Romain Khedimi, Maxime Jobe, Joe Chan and Alan Baby signed their first contract for the club.

Young Juniors players Lucas Ribas, Léo Llong and Hugo Bravo joins the squad on trial.

Rachid Mekkaoui and Romain Mencarini also join the squad from Elite 2 club Baho.

Headoach Benoit Albert strengthened his staff with the signing of former Dragons player Mathias Pala as Strength and conditioning assistant, working with Head of Performance Richard Hunwicks.
