Disciplinary udpates


 
 

Catalans Dragons’ Sam Tomkins and Michael McIlorum have been suspended following this weekend’s fixture against Warrington Wolves.

 

Sam Tomkins was charged and found guilty of punching. Tomkins had challenged the grading of Grade C punching however the tribunal felt the grading was correct and Tomkins was handed a three-match suspension, £500 fine and a £500 loss of deposit for grading challenge.

Micky McIlorum was charged and found guilty of a reckless tackle. McIlorum pleaded not guilty but was found guilty and given a two-match suspension, £500 fine and a £500 forfeit of penalty notice challenge.

Three more Catalans players also faced tribunal with the following results:

Brayden Williame was charged with a Grade B Dangerous Throw however the grading was downgraded to Grade A and Williame has received no suspension. 

Mickael Simon was charged with a Grade A Head Butt but successfully pleaded not guilty and will receive nil suspension. 

Kenny Edwards was charged with Grade C Other Contrary Behaviour but was found not guilty.
