Benjamin Jullien signs contract extension

Catalans Dragons back rower Benjamin Jullien has today signed a new two-year contract with the club.

The France International will remain at the Gilbert Brutus Stadium until the end of the 2021 campaign.

Jullien, 24, started playing Rugby League in Avignon and left France a first time to play down under for the Wynnum-Manly Seagulls. He then moved to North Wales Crusaders in 2015 before joining the Warrington Wolves in 2016 where he made 33 Super League appearances and scored 3 tries.

He then signed for the Dragons in 2018 and scored 7 tries in 38 games under the Catalans jersey.

Benjamin Jullien

I’m delighted to stay at the Dragons for two more years. The club have ambitions and I’m really happy to be a part of it. Having won the Challenge Cup last season, I want to lift the Super League trophy now with this club and this team, I want to do it for Catalonia.

Steve McNamara, Catalans Dragons Headcoach

Benjamin is a young French player who is an important member of our squad. There is still lots of improvement to come in Ben’s game and we look forward to working with him to achieve his potential.
