Ben Pomeroy joins reserve team


 
 

Catalans Dragons reserve team signs Ben Pomeroy for the 2018/19 season.

Pomeroy, 34, will bring his experience to the youngest squad of the competition with an average age of 20 years old.

Reserve team headcoach Benoit Albert said: "I’m delighted that Ben has chosen to join our club. He understood the role we wanted to give him and is fully committed to our project of developing the future Catalans Dragons players. I know him well having worked with him during his time at the Dragons and he is someone I really appreciate. He is a really professional player, both on and off the field and is highly respected within our club. He comes here to bring his experience and to help this really young team to improve. I am sure he will make a great contribution to our group and help all this young players to progress.”

The Australian center scored 55 tries in 170 NRL games with Penrith and Cronulla before joining the Catalans Dragons in 2014. He made 47 appearances and scored 47 tries with the club. He then signed for Lezignan to play in the French Elite Championship and came back in the Super League with the Warrington Wolves.
