David Mead scored four second-half tries as Catalans Dragons came from behind to beat Huddersfield Giants 22-12 in the final Betfred Super League game of the season.

The Giants appeared to be on course to end their campaign on a high before Mead's stunning intervention saw the Dragons finish two points behind their visitors in the table.

Huddersfield took the lead in the opening minute thanks to Louis Senior's first Super League try before brother Innes crossed to make it 10-0 and a Danny Brough penalty left the Giants in control at the break.

Papua New Guinea international Mead scored two converted tries to cancel out Huddersfield's lead with 20 minutes remaining and compelted the comeback with two more scores late on.
