Moa receives 2-match suspension
Following a review of the opening round’s games in Betfred Super League, the Match Review Panel have handed Catalans Dragons forward, Sam Moa, a two-match Penalty Notice for a Grade B reckless strike in the 7th minute on Joe Mellor during the game against Widnes Vikings on Sunday, February 4.
Due to Moa’s relevant record (two or more offences in the last 24 months, including at least one in the last 12 months) he received a penalty at the higher end of the range.
Moa has until 11.00am on Tuesday, February 6 to challenge the Penalty Notice.
