Rémi Casty will lead the Dragons in 2018 having been appointed as captain of the club.

The French prop said: “I’m once again really proud to be the captain of this team.”

 “It’s an important role to me and it’s a huge honor to represent the club."

“The quality of this team, both on and off the field, makes my job easier.”               

The French prop was the club captain from 2012 to 2013 and after his return from the Sydney Roosters from 2015 to 2017.

Catalans Dragons headcoach Steve McNamara said: “Rémi will continue to captain our Club for 2018.”

“Whilst we have many experienced players and leaders within our team, Rémi is the logical choice.”

“His work within our organization, both on and off the field, whilst I have been here has been exemplary.”
