Dragons represented in the round 2


 
 

The Dragons will be heavily represented in the round 2 of the 2017 Rugby League World Cup.

13 Catalans Dragons players feature in the week two.

 

Group A

France team is dominated by Catalans players, with 9 players named in the Aurélien Cologni Squad.

Ben Garcia, Jason Baitieri, Fouad Yaha, Julian Bousquet and Thibaud Margalet will all face Australia on Friday.

Lucas Albert, Nabil Djalout, Antoni Maria and Lambert Belmas have been named in the 21 man squad but should not face the Kangaroos.

 

 

 

Group B

Two Catalans Dragons players will represent the Dragons in this group.

Lewis Tierney will start on the wing for Scotland against New Zealand.

Sam Moa will start the game on the bench for Tonga against Sam Moa.

 

Group C

Papua New Guinea have named a strong side to play Ireland in Port Moresby, which includes Paul Aiton at lock.

 

Group D

Brayden Wiliame has also been named in the Fiji squad by Head coach Mick Potter to face Wales and will start the game in the back row.
