Julian Bousquet scored a last-minute try as Catalans Dragons came from behind to beat Leigh Centurions 40-36 despite Ben Reynolds scoring 20 points for the visitors.

Leigh remain bottom of Betfred Super League after a dramatic finish which keeps the French side's slim top-eight hopes intact.

Matty Dawson and Danny Tickle bundled over as the visitors dominated the opening 12 minutes and Reynolds dummied his way through for the first of his two tries five minutes later.

Things went from bad to worse for the Dragons as Richie Myler limped off with a shoulder injury, although Jodie Broughton and Mickael Simon both crossed to reduce the deficit.

However, Sam Hopkins scored two tries in four minutes before half-time to give the Centurions a 16-point lead.

Simon and Vincent Duport went over to give Catalans two tries in as many minutes after the break, before Reynolds extended Leigh's lead.

Tries from Sam Moa and Justin Horo levelled the scores and set-up a tense last 10 minutes, but after a Reynolds penalty put Leigh ahead, Bousquet powered over in the dying seconds.
