Catalans Dragons moved level on 20 points with Warrington Wolves and Hull FC at the top of First Utility Super League with a 16-14 victory over Huddersfield Giants at the Stade Gilbert Brutus.

After Danny Brough broke the deadlock with a 24th-minute penalty, the Giants moved into a 8-0 lead courtesy of Nathan Mason's try shortly after.

But the hosts came roaring back when Louis Anderson crossed and Pat Richards converted before the interval, narrowing the deficit to 8-6, before Justin Horo and Tony Gigot scored tries in the space of five second-half minutes to open up an eight-point gap.

Huddersfield set up a nervy finish when Brough converted Jake Connor's 65th-minute effort, but Catalans held on for a ninth win in 10 matches in all competitions.
