Warrington Wolves snatched victory at the death for the second week running to maintain their 100 per cent record in First Utility Super League.

After Chris Sandow's last-minute drop goal secured a 31-30 win over Salford Red Devils last week, the half-back crossed in the dying seconds for a try which secured a 30-20 victory over Catalans Dragons and took Warrington's record for the season to five wins from five matches.

That had looked unlikely when the Wolves found themselves trailing 20-12 shortly after half-time after Vincent Duport added to first-half tries from Todd Carney and Pat Richards.

Ryan Evans and Ben Currie had crossed for the Wire to keep them in the contest, and Evans reduced the deficit on the hour-mark.

George King and Sandow then went over at the death to condemn the Dragons to a third defeat of the season.
