Josh Simm joins the club
Catalans Dragons are delighted to announce the signing of Josh Simm from the 2026 season.
The English winger or center, who currently plays for the Castleford Tigers, has signed a two-year deal with the club.
Josh Simm said : "I’m really excited about the opportunity to play for the Catalans Dragons. Once I heard about the interest and received a phone call from Joel Tomkins about his plans for the future I was 100% on board from the word go. It’s a club I’ve always held in high regard and to get the opportunity to represent them really excites me and my family. I’m looking forward to getting over to France and putting my best foot forward!”
Simm came through the St Helens’ system and went on to make 19 appearances for the club, scoring seven tries. After loan spells with Leigh and Hull FC, he moved to Australia for the 2023 season, signing for Queensland Cup side Wynnum-Manly Seagulls.
He then returned to Super League with Castleford ahead of the 2024 season.
Simm, 24, scored 30 tries in 80 games in his career.
Joel Tomkins said: " Josh joins us with motivation to improve his game and compete for his place in the team. He is at the right age and has the skill set to take his game to the next level with the Dragons. His presence in the squad will increase competition for places in the outside backs which will naturally increase the intensity and quality of our training and preparation.”
