Christian Cozza announces his retirement

Catalans Dragons kit man Christian Cozza has decided to announce his retirement after 15 Super League seasons spent at the club.

‘Couscous’, 63, arrived in Catalonia in 2007. Known for his rigour and his work ethic, he has always been much appreciated by all the players who passed through the club. He has been unanimously loved by the dressing room season after season.

He will take part in his last game against Leigh at the Gilbert Brutus Stadium on Saturday, February 25, in the Super League Round 2. He will bring his total to 457 Super League games and 244 trips to England.

Christian Cozza : « I spent 15 wonderful years at the club. I would like to thank Bernard for trusting me when I arrived. I would also like to thank all the players I have worked with, the sports and administrative staff as well as the club management. A big thank you to all the fans and sponsors for their support. Working for this club for 15 years has been a privilege. I have also been lucky to share two seasons with my son in the dressing room. I will remain the Dragons fan number one for life and I wish the club all the best for the future. »
