The context

The Dragons will enter the competition by hosting Featherstone in the Challenge Cup Round 6. Kick-off at 3.30pm CET on Saturday at the Gilbert Brutus Stadium.

Steve McNamara's men are on a five-game winning streak in Super League and will be aiming to qualify for the next round of the Challenge Cup. They will have to beat the Rovers, leaders of the Championship and still unbeaten this season with 5 wins and a draw.

Three-time Challenge Cup winners, Featherstone have lost 2 consecutive Championship finals in 2019 against Toronto and last season against Toulouse. 


The squad

Steve McNamara has named his squad to host Featherstone.

The staff will be without Mitchell Pearce and Jordan Dezaria, suspended. Dean Whare, Julian Bousquet, and Arthur Mourgue will miss the game through injury.

Samisoni Langi and Micky McIlorum are out of the squad while Matthieu Laguerre, Corentin Le Cam, César Rougé and Romain Franco are back in the squad to face Featherstone.
