Christmas break for the players

Catalans Dragons headcoach Steve McNamara has granted few days off to the players, to allow them to spend time with their families for Christmas.

The full squad will be back to training on January, 2nd.

Steve McNamara : « We’ve had an extremely tough and intense six weeks and the Christmas break is a convenient time to decrease the workload before we commence again on January 2nd. The players will continue to train in their own environment with the program designed by the head of performance Richard Hunwicks. The Christmas period is an essential part of the Dragons’ preseason, mentally the players need a break and it’s very important that they spend this special time of the year with their families. We as a club spend more time away from our families than any other team due to the logistical requirements we have in the season and this is our time to give a little something back to them.”
