New record for Rémi Casty

Rémi Casty became Catalans Dragons' all-time leader for games played with his substitute appearance against Wigan on Saturday.

The Dragons captain, in his second spell with the club, first made his debut as a substitute in a 66-0 Challenge Cup home win against Thornhill Trojans on 1 April, 2006.

He now has 274 Dragons appearances to his name, surpassing previous record holder Greg Mounis, who played 273 games for the club between 2006 and 2016.

Next record for the Catalans captain will be the number of Super League appearances at the club. Greg Mounis is the record holder with 254 Super League appearances with the Dragons while Rémi Casty has made “only” 252 appearances.
