Steve McNamara has announced the squad numbers for the 2018 Super League season.

Six new signings are included in the 2018 Catalans Dragons squad.

David Mead has been given the ‘1’ shirt, Samisoni Langi the number 6, Michael McIlorum the number 19, Lewis Tierney the number 20, Benjamin Jullien the number 21 and Antoni Maria the number 23.

Georgy Gambaro and Arthur Mourgue, who have signed their first professional contract, have been named in the 2018 squad.

Catalans Dragons headcoach Steve McNamara commented: “Regarding our overall squad, it was clearly evident last year that it lacked depth. With the addition of our new signings, plus the development and progress made by our youngest members of the squad, we look in a healthier position moving into 2018. The need to improve individually and collectively has driven our pre-season program, and the level of competition within the group has lifted our standards. Our whole squad regardless of the number given will be utilized this season. 33 players were used last season and to compete well in the Super League, all our players will need to contribute.”
