Dragons head into high altitude camp

The Dragons will head to Font-Romeu on Wednesday for a three-day high altitude training camp.

After being eliminated from the Challenge Cup, the Dragons won’t play this weekend.

Steve McNamara will gather the team at the Font Romeu national training center where the team will take part into training sessions and group activities.

Football manager Alex Chan said: “Font-Romeu offers high level facilities and this camp is an opportunity to take the boys out of their habits. It’s the first camp for Steve and the team since he is at the club and he wanted to bring the boys out of Gilbert Brutus. This camp will strengthen the cohesion of the group and help the boys to feel refreshed mentally before the next four crucial games.”
