Louis Jouffret is back at the club after signing a one-year contract with the Dragons U23.

He spent last season at Whitehaven in the Championship where he made 26 appearances, scoring 6 tries and 130 points.

“I’m delighted to come back to Perpignan and to play for the Dragons U23 again after my experience in UK. I know many players in the squad and I’m sure to fit in the team really quickly. I would like to thank both Chairmen Bernard Guasch and Gérard Caillis for having faith in me and giving me this opportunity.” said Louis Jouffret.

The young Avignon-born player, who can play fullback and halfback, already played for the Dragons reserve team in 2015. He also spent two the seasons at the Warrington Wolves Academy from 2013 to 2014, playing for the Wolves U19.

Dragons U23 headcoach Jérôme Guisset commented: “It’s a great news to have Louis back at the club. He will add quality to the squad and will bring his experience to the team. He needs to bring his leadership, his game management and his good kicking game to the team.”
