Todd Carney underwent scans to determine the extent of his injury after leaving the field injured in Dragons’ Super 8s defeat against Saints last Friday at Langtree Park.

The Catalans half-back has been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering knee ligament damage.

Jodie Broughton suffers from a quad injury and will be sidelined for a couple of weeks.

Justin Horo, who also left the field injured, picked up an ankle injury and is sidelined for three weeks.

Two other Dragons players underwent scans. Pat Richards and Antoni Maria have also been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering knee injuries.
