Todd Carney shorlisted for Player of the Month award

Title sponsor First Utility has today revealed the nominations for the Official First Utility Super League Player of the Month competition for June, which lets fans vote for the league’s most outstanding players, with the Dragon’s Todd Carney making the shortlist.

Two assists in his last three games, Carney played a pivotal role as his Catalans Dragons side continued their fine form during June. Now sitting in 4th place, the Dragons kept pace with the sides above them and are just four points behind current league leaders, Hull FC.

If you feel that Todd deserves to be the First Utility Super League Player of the Month for June – vote at www.Facebook.com/FirstUtilitySuperLeague

Each fan who votes will go into a prize draw with one lucky supporter getting the chance to present the First Utility Super League Player of the Month trophy to the winning player. The two players with the most votes will then be considered by a judging panel consisting of representatives from First Utility & League Weekly, where an overall winner will be revealed.

Voting is now open, and the June First Utility Super League Player of the Month shortlist is as follows:

  • Todd Carney (Catalans Dragons)
  • Josh Charnley (Wigan Warriors)
  • Ben Currie (Warrington Wolves)
  • Kurt Gidley (Warrington Wolves)
  • Marc Sneyd (Hull FC)

Fans have until 3pm July 1st to register their votes for June’s First Utility Super League Player of the Month award.
