Zeb Taia shortlisted for Player of the Month award


 
 

Title sponsor First Utility has today revealed the nominations for the Official First Utility Super League Player of the Month competition for May, which lets fans vote for the league’s most outstanding players.

Zeb Taia makes the final shortlist, which was announced in League Weekly today (Monday 1st) after a good run of form throughout May. With just one defeat all month, Zeb was influential in the Catalans’ good form during May and his late try against St Helens grabbed a vital two points at home against the current champions.

Each fan who votes will go into a prize draw with one lucky supporter getting the chance to present the First Utility Super League Player of the Month trophy to the winning player. The two players with the most votes will then be considered by a judging panel consisting of representatives from First Utility & League Weekly, where an overall winner will be revealed. 

 

The May First Utility Super League Player of the Month shortlist is as follows:

  • Ben Currie (Warrington Wolves)
  • Kevin Brown (Widnes Vikings)
  • Fetuli Talanoa (Hull FC)
  • Danny Brough (Huddersfield Giants)

Fans have until midday on June 5th to register their votes for the May First Utility Super League Player of the Month award.
