Catalans Dragons can confirm that young halfback Louis Jouffret and winger Jordan Sigismeau, who are playing for Dragons reserve team Saint-Estève XIII Catalan, joined Championship club Whitehaven on loan until the end of June.

Catalans Dragons headcoach Laurent Frayssinous said: “Louis and Jordan are potential Super League players but they need to play week in week out if they want to improve.”

“They need more experience at a top level and this loan is a great opportunity for them.”
