The club would like to thank again Mickael Simon for all the memories during his time at the club and would like to wish him all the best for the future.

He played his last game with the Dragons against St Helens in the Super League semi final. The former France International prop announced his decision to leave the club earlier this season, having signed for French Elite 1 Championship club Carcassonne.

Simon, 33, made 167 Super League apperances, including 131 under the Catalans jersey (147 with the Challenge Cup). He made his Super League debut with the Dragons in 2010 came back at the club in 2017 after a 2 years stint at Wakefield.

When he announced his decision, Mickael Simon said : “I made the decision to end my professional career at the end of this season. During this long period, I have had time to think about it and I feel it is the right decision. I want to prepare my future as well as possible and be close to my two kids. I’ve had 11 fantastic Super League seasons, with ups and downs, but those moments allowed me to build myself. I have been delighted to play for this the club over all these years!
